Puppy Pickup & Extended Care Policy

Please read this policy before placing a reservation deposit. It applies to every TS2K Puppies reservation and is incorporated into the Puppy Purchase Agreement.

1. Reservation Deposit, Buyer Cancellation, TS2K Declination, and Discretionary Transfers

  • The $500 reservation deposit is non-refundable and is applied toward the total purchase price of the specific Puppy selected by the Buyer. Once the deposit is received and confirmed by TS2K Puppies, that Puppy is reserved for the Buyer and removed from availability.
  • If the Buyer voluntarily cancels, withdraws from the purchase, changes their mind, or otherwise chooses not to complete the purchase, the deposit is forfeited in full. This applies regardless of how soon after payment the Buyer cancels.
  • The Buyer has no automatic right to transfer the deposit to another puppy or to a future litter. A transfer is a discretionary goodwill exception that TS2K Puppies may grant or decline in its sole discretion, and is effective only when approved by TS2K Puppies in writing, with its own puppy eligibility, conditions, and expiration date stated in that approval.
  • If TS2K Puppies declines or rejects the reservation, the $500 reservation deposit is refunded to the Buyer in full.
  • The remaining balance is due in full before the Puppy is released for pickup. For shipping or delivery, the balance and all applicable delivery, transport, and care charges must be paid in full before transport is scheduled and before the Puppy leaves the Breeder's care.

2. Complimentary Pickup Period and Extended Care Fee

  • The 7-calendar-day complimentary pickup period begins on the later of (1) the Puppy's designated ready date, or (2) the date the reservation deposit is received and confirmed by TS2K Puppies. That later date is Day 1.
  • By the end of Day 7, the Puppy must have been picked up or approved delivery completed, or a specific future pickup or delivery date must have been scheduled and approved by TS2K Puppies in writing.
  • If TS2K Puppies delays release because TS2K Puppies determines the Puppy is not yet ready for pickup or delivery, the Buyer incurs no Extended Care Fee for that additional time, and the 7-calendar-day complimentary pickup period is calculated from the revised ready date established by TS2K Puppies.
  • Where TS2K Puppies has approved continued care beyond Day 7 in writing, an Extended Care Fee of $35 per calendar day applies beginning on Day 8 and continues until the Puppy is picked up or approved delivery occurs.
  • The Extended Care Fee covers routine continued care, including feeding, housing, cleaning, supervision, and age-appropriate socialization and handling. It does not cover veterinary treatment, medications, grooming, transport, or other extraordinary costs, which are billed separately.
  • All Extended Care Fees and other applicable charges must be paid in full before the Puppy is released for pickup or delivery.

3. Failure to Communicate or Take Possession

  • If, by the end of Day 7, the Puppy has not been picked up, approved delivery has not occurred, and no future pickup or delivery date has been scheduled and approved by TS2K Puppies in writing, the reservation is in default.
  • Day 8 by itself does not automatically cancel the reservation, forfeit the deposit, or return the Puppy to availability. If TS2K Puppies has approved continued care in writing, the applicable Extended Care Fee begins on Day 8. If no approved written arrangement is in effect at the end of Day 7, the reservation is in default and TS2K Puppies may exercise the rights described below.
  • While the reservation remains in default, TS2K Puppies may treat the Puppy as abandoned and may cancel the reservation, retain the non-refundable deposit, retain any Extended Care Fees already paid, and make the Puppy available to another family. TS2K Puppies is not required to provide an additional notice, cure period, or grace period after Day 7 before exercising these rights.
  • A deposit forfeited through abandonment or default is not eligible for a discretionary transfer.
  • Payment or attempted payment of an Extended Care Fee does not, by itself, create an approved extension or cure a default.

4. Written Approval and Exceptions

  • Any extension, transfer, alternative pickup or delivery arrangement, fee adjustment, or other exception must be expressly approved by TS2K Puppies in writing.
  • Silence, delayed communication, payment of the deposit, or payment or attempted payment of an Extended Care Fee does not create an approved extension or entitle the Buyer to additional time.
  • An exception granted to one Buyer does not modify or waive this policy for any other Buyer.
