Breeder notes

  • Never let a puppy have: chocolate, grapes or raisins, xylitol (sugar-free gum and peanut butter), onions, garlic, macadamia nuts, alcohol, caffeine, or cooked bones.
  • Common toxic plants: lilies, sago palm, pothos, philodendron, aloe, tulip and daffodil bulbs.
  • Pick up hair ties, coins, socks, and kids' small toys — swallowed objects are the most common puppy surgery.
  • Keep toilet lids down and check the washer and dryer before every load.
  • Program your nearest 24-hour emergency vet into your phone before pickup day.
